Framework before project

A placement begins with a verifiable learning plan.

Inte1 describes the offer; ConI and the promoting entity’s process govern the student-specific relationship. No project is confirmed until documentation, insurance, academic compatibility, and supervision capacity have been verified.

01

Educational, not employment

Objectives, activities, outputs, and evaluation must produce documentable learning, not fill an employment position.

02

Active enrolment

The standard route requires active enrolment at a European university or equivalent recognised higher-education institution from application through activation.

03

Consistent hours and credits

The ordinary planning reference is 25 hours per ECTS/CFU unless the university’s official rule differs and is stated explicitly.

04

Conditional activation

University or promoting entity, insurance, individual plan, ConI, any required Attachment G, and permissions must align before the start.

Three distinct contexts

Choose the ecosystem before the project.

Living, Commenda, and Luna share documentary discipline, but not identity, purpose, selectivity, or content. Their dedicated portals remain separate.

LIVING

Community, houses, and place

Marketing, architecture, civil and environmental engineering, water, waste, language education, legal research, and community projects.

COMMENDA

Software, data, and public financing

A more professional route across databases, security, data rooms, document automation, and public-financing workflows.

LUNA

Selective deep-tech research

Mechanics, aerostatics, robotics, electronics, physical simulation, optics, thermal engineering, materials, and prototyping for already-strong STEM candidates.

Living and Commenda catalogues

Two identities, two readable collections.

Living and Commenda proposals remain separated by owner, purpose, and visual identity. Each PDF preserves the plan, hours, credits, boundaries, and attachments needed to understand the project.

LUNA · QUALIFIED INTERNSHIPS

Ten research pathways. A more demanding selection.

Luna is a deep-tech project of ColivingLiguria S.r.l., while retaining its own identity, palette, and technical threshold. These opportunities are distinct educational work packages, not ten placements available at the same time.

Open the Luna internship portal

Project-led selection

Technical preparation, learning objectives, safety, supervision capacity, and promoting-entity compatibility are reviewed together.

Higher-touch procedure

We may coordinate the Inte1 dossier, ConI checks, and exchanges with the university or promoting entity more closely. This is not a guarantee of approval, funding, visa, or activation.

Support only when documented

For on-site work, any meals, accommodation, or practical support are assessed case by case, only when genuinely available and recorded in the final documents. Accommodation needs a separate lawful instrument; support is neither automatic nor presented as payment for activity.

In the private area you will be able to say whether you selected an Inte1, already have a detailed project, or want to shape one with us. Skills, university, credits, total and weekly hours, timing, language, and group-work needs will be collected in the protected flow once the backend is active.

FAQ

Essential answers before applying.

These explanations guide your reading. The Inte1 project, student-specific ConI, and promoting-entity documents prevail over this public summary.

01Is the internship employment?

No. Inte1 presents an educational project and operational plan; it creates no employment and does not activate a placement. A student-specific ConI, the university or promoting-entity process, required insurance, and all necessary approvals must be complete first.

02Is the placement paid?

Current proposals do not, by themselves, grant compensation or reimbursement payable by ColivingLiguria. Any economic treatment required by law, regional rules, or the applicable programme remains mandatory; an Erasmus or university grant is separate and must be declared and coordinated before activation.

03Who can use the standard route?

A person actively enrolled, both when applying and when the placement is activated, at a European university or equivalent recognised higher-education institution. Non-standard cases require separate legal review before any acceptance.

04Can I propose a different project?

Yes. You may start from a published offer, propose a thesis variation, or bring your own project. Scope, hours, credits, verifiable activities, boundaries, attachments, and supervision must still be made into a consistent Inte1 and then approved through the ConI route.

05Can several students work on one project?

This can be assessed. A project may receive complementary contributions, but each student retains an individual application, learning plan, hours, credits, insurance, documents, and approvals. Adding students does not automatically divide an offer’s total workload.

06What is the working language?

English is the normal language of the proposals and technical PDFs. An Italian-language route or, in a specific case, a German-language route may be assessed only when the project, supervision, and documentation make it genuinely workable.

07Does an internship automatically include a stay?

No. ConI and Inte1 concern the educational project. A fully remote placement needs no residential or membership relationship; any on-site presence instead requires a separate lawful basis and complementary documentation assessed for the specific case.

How it works

Three steps, without implied promises.

  1. 01

Watch the internship guide and identify a suitable project area.

  2. 02

Register as Student or intern and describe the institution’s requirements.

  3. 03

Align Inte1, the student-specific ConI, university approval, insurance, and any separate on-site framework before confirmation.
