Important
Assigned to: Natasha Mezheven
Status: Not Started (pending employment start)
Scope: Complete bureaucratic setup for legal event organization
Overview
Before ColivingLiguria can legally and safely organize events, we need a comprehensive understanding of ALL regulations that apply to us. This task involves both internal bureaucracy (our contracts and policies) and external bureaucracy (laws and regulations at all levels).
The final deliverable is a master reference document in English that explains all relevant rules for event organization.
Part 1: Internal Bureaucracy (Contracts & Policies)
1.1 Review Existing Contracts
Natasha must review and understand all internal contracts related to events:
| Contract | Purpose | Link |

| Contract for Residents | Guest responsibilities | Contract-for-Residents |
| Contract for Volunteers | Volunteer terms | Contract-for-Volunteers |
| Liability Waivers | Risk management | TBD |
1.2 Formalize Missing Contracts
If any contracts are missing or incomplete, work with Simone to draft them:
- Event participant waivers
- Vendor/supplier agreements
- Catering contracts
- Equipment rental agreements
Part 2: External Bureaucracy (Laws & Regulations)
2.1 Collect Regulations at ALL Levels
Download, translate (if needed), and study regulations from:
| Level | Source | Topics |
|---|---|---|
| EU | EUR-Lex | Food safety (HACCP), consumer protection, accessibility |
| Italy (National) | Gazzetta Ufficiale | Public events law, TULPS, safety requirements |
| Liguria (Regional) | Regione Liguria | Regional event permits, tourism regulations |
| Cairo Montenotte (Municipal) | Comune website | Local permits, noise ordinances, alcohol licenses |
2.2 Key Topics to Research
- Permits required: SCIA for events? Municipal authorization?

- Music & noise: Noise limits, hours allowed, SIAE requirements
- Safety: Fire safety, maximum capacity, emergency plans
- Insurance: Liability coverage requirements
- Accessibility: Disabled access requirements
