FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Major and a Minor event?

An event is 'Major' if it involves 20 or more people or lasts for at least 24 hours. Annual festivals and seasonal parties are always considered Major events. All other events are 'Minor'.

What is 'Saturday Pizza Night'?

It is a weekly recurring event where the community prepares dinner using the wood-fired oven. It is a central moment of social life. If you are the Organizer, you must ensure that all participants help with cleaning and tidying up afterward.

Are the 'Music Saturdays' guaranteed to happen?

No. Music Saturdays only happen if bands or artists apply and are approved. The Organizer's role is to actively search for and sponsor the initiative to attract talent to the facility.

Who is responsible for cleaning up after an event?

The Signatory/Organizer is responsible for ensuring the space is restored to its original state and all waste is removed. While cleanup is often a collective community effort, the final responsibility lies with the Organizer.

Can I hold events inside the buildings?

Currently, no indoor spaces are guaranteed for events. Activity is focused on the garden and 'Il Forno' outdoor area. Any future indoor availability will be updated via Allegato R.

What are the time limits for events?

Daytime events are permitted from 08:00 to 20:00. Evening events can start at 18:00 but must end strictly by 23:00 to respect the quiet of the neighborhood and community.

How many people can I invite to an event in the garden?

The maximum capacity for the outdoor garden (Plot 522) is 30 people at a time. The 'Il Forno' area is limited to 10 people. Exceeding these limits is a violation of safety rules.

What happens if equipment is damaged during an event?

The Organizer is personally responsible for any damage to the facility, furniture, or equipment. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged to the Organizer's Debt Line (Allegato F).

Is the information on the ColivingLiguria website binding?

No. The website is for informal reference only. This document (Allegato S) is the only formal and legally binding reference for your event-related obligations and permissions.

What is the 'University Start' event?

It is an annual event organized in collaboration with the University of Genoa (UniGe) to welcome new students to the community. It is a Major event requiring maximum facility capacity and engagement.
