Luna research portal

Research before claims.

Luna links aerostatics, light, thermal management, electronics, software, materials, safety, environmental impact, and regulation. Collaboration begins with one bounded question—not with access to the whole archive.

Current research map

Five systems. One unresolved operating model.

The product-compliance register deliberately keeps classification, operations, technical evidence, and prototype-test requirements open until competent-authority guidance and engineering evidence close them.

Q1

Classification

Non-passenger tethered gas balloon, another aeronautical category, or a temporary obstacle: written guidance remains necessary.

Q2

Operating perimeter

People, sites, airspace, weather, offsets, notifications, operators, manuals, insurance, and emergency limits must form one reviewed case.

Q3

Measured evidence

Mass, thermal response, wind stability, light distribution, control behaviour, and materials require instrumented tests—not assumptions repeated as specifications.

Ways to collaborate

A role follows the evidence you can own.

University or laboratory

A defined model, measurement, material, safety, or prototype work package with named reviewers and reproducible outputs.

Technical professional

A bounded review or engineering contribution whose scope, confidentiality, responsibility, and outputs are agreed before access.

Potential co-founder path

A sustained, high-impact collaboration may open a separate co-founder discussion. It is never automatic and requires mutual due diligence, corporate approvals, and a written agreement.

Collaboration sequence

Scope. Access. Evidence. Review.

  1. 01

    Propose one contribution

Explain the question, methods, competence, time, facilities, data needs, and expected output through the private area.

  2. 02

    Define boundaries

Agree supervision, confidentiality, intellectual-property boundaries, safety, source access, and the decision the work should support.

  3. 03

    Produce reproducible evidence

Calculations, code, CAD, test logs, data, uncertainties, assumptions, and negative results remain traceable.

  4. 04

    Review before publication

A draft result never becomes a public product claim without technical, legal, and publication review.
