Frequently asked questions
Does a visa guarantee entry or a stay at ColivingLiguria?
No. A visa allows its holder to present at the border during the stated period and for the stated purpose, but entry remains subject to public checks. It does not itself grant accommodation, stay, work, study, or any other contractual right.
What is the difference between a visa and a residence permit?
A visa is generally an entry authorisation. For routes where law requires it, a residence permit must be requested within the prescribed period after entry. Category, procedure, and competent authority depend on the actual case.
Why is Attachment E not completed solely from citizenship?
Because the regime also depends on the State of stable residence, travel document, purpose, dates, and duration. Language, telephone number, or country of birth are not sufficient criteria.
Can ColivingLiguria guarantee issuance, accelerate the case, or act as a consular intermediary?
No. Decisions belong to the competent authorities. The Company promises no issuance, priority, appointment, border admission, or renewal and does not hold itself out as an accredited intermediary or official external service provider without separately verified status.
What assistance may be activated?
Only the scope selected in the Configuration: official sources, material file organisation, support for purely factual drafts, or logistical coordination with separate providers. A request does not automatically activate the service.
Does ColivingLiguria provide legal advice or lodge appeals?
No. Individual legal advice, appeals, representation, and other reserved activities are excluded. Where a substantive legal issue or refusal arises, administrative assistance is suspended and referral to a qualified professional is indicated.
Does the Company automatically issue an invitation letter or declaration of accommodation?
No. Different documents have different conditions. A confirmation may state only true, current, verified facts after checking its actual basis and signing authority; it is not a consular guarantee or real-estate instrument.
Is the assistance service currently paid?
The commercial service is disabled by default. No price, order, or advance may be accepted until the administrative, tax, consumer, and professional gate is complete and the Configuration contains an accepted written quote.
Are out-of-pocket costs automatically withdrawn from the deposit?
No. Each cost requires specific prior approval or an approved cap, supporting evidence, and an account. The deposit or Guarantee Fund under Attachment F is not general authorisation for immigration expenses.
How are passports, visas, and permits handled?
Minimisation and the Protected Channel under Attachment D apply. Where presentation or a masked reference suffices, no copy is retained. Temporary files have restricted access, expiry, and logged deletion and must not enter Git, chats, ordinary email, or public archives.
Does an authority refusal or delay automatically trigger a penalty?
No. A refusal, delay, or request for additional documents is not automatically a breach. Contractual consequences may concern attributable conduct, such as knowingly using false documents, and require review, challenge rights, and proportionality under Attachments F and T.
