Abstract

We are looking for an experienced Mountainbike Trail Designer and Guide to develop a network of Enduro/Downhill trails on our property. This is a unique opportunity to create a new MTB destination right next to the world-famous Finale Ligure and build your own guiding business from our coliving hub.

ColivingLiguria is located a short drive from the Finale Outdoor area, a global hotspot for mountain biking. From spring to autumn, thousands of riders come to Finale from all over the world. We have a unique opportunity to create our own trail network on the hillsides and forests surrounding our properties, like Terreni oltre Torrente, Terreni alla Fonte and The Cliffside.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual to take charge of this project. The role has two main parts: designing and building the trails, and just as importantly, building a business as an MTB guide for our residents and for new guests you bring to the coliving.

The Mission: Trail Builder & MTB Guide

Your role is to develop this new venture from the ground up.

  1. Trail Design & Building:
    • Scout, design, and plan a network of Enduro/Downhill trails on the hillside available to us.
    • The top of the hill is accessible by car, making it ideal for shuttle-assisted runs.
    • We will work with you to secure all necessary permits for the land.
  2. Guiding & Business Development:
    • Act as the resident MTB guide for ColivingLiguria guests.
    • Market and attract new guests (riders) to stay at our coliving, who will then be your clients for guided tours.
    • Develop packages (e.g., “Stay & Ride”) in collaboration with us.

Business Model & Earning Potential

This is your business. We provide the land, accommodation, and a base of potential clients; you build the enterprise.

  • Model: This will be run as your own independent business (Model A from Propose a Project), where you rent resources from us at a minimal cost and keep the profits from your guiding services.
  • Your Income: Your revenue will come directly from the guests you guide. You will have the freedom to set your prices and packages.
  • Future Investment: As this project grows, we have the possibility to use our European funding to co-invest in necessary equipment, such as a fleet of rental bikes or tools.

What We Offer

  • Land & Location: An entire hillside with forest, accessible by car, ready for development. All this, located right next to the Finale Ligure MTB mecca.
  • Tools & Resources:
    • All necessary planning and design tools.
    • Availability of an Enduro bike (the owner’s, Simone Testino) for you to use.
  • Accommodation:
    • We offer you a free or heavily reduced rent for a room (private or shared) at Location.
    • This will be formalized with a Contract for Residents, ensuring your stay is legally sound.
  • Community & Network: A vibrant community of international remote workers and volunteers, providing an instant customer base and a great living environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in trail design and construction (please provide a portfolio).
  • Certified MTB guide qualifications.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to build a business from scratch.
  • Good knowledge of the MTB market, especially the Finale Ligure scene.
  • Sociable, community-oriented, and ready to live in a rustic, hands-on renovation environment at Location.
  • Good level of English is required to communicate with our international guests.

Stiamo cercando un Mountainbike Trail Designer e Guida esperto per sviluppare una rete di sentieri Enduro/Downhill sulla nostra proprietà. Questa è un’opportunità unica per creare una nuova destinazione MTB proprio accanto alla famosissima Finale Ligure e costruire la tua attività di guida dal nostro hub di coliving.

ColivingLiguria si trova a breve distanza in auto dall’area Finale Outdoor, un hotspot globale per la mountain bike. Dalla primavera all’autunno, migliaia di rider da tutto il mondo vengono a Finale. Abbiamo l’opportunità unica di creare la nostra rete di sentieri sulle colline e nei boschi che circondano le nostre proprietà, come Terreni oltre Torrente e Terreni alla Fonte.

Stiamo cercando una persona intraprendente che si faccia carico di questo progetto. Il ruolo ha due parti principali: progettare e costruire i sentieri e, cosa altrettanto importante, costruire un’attività come guida MTB per i nostri residenti e per i nuovi ospiti che porterai al coliving.

La Missione: Trail Builder e Guida MTB

Il tuo ruolo è sviluppare questa nuova impresa da zero.

  1. Progettazione e Costruzione Sentieri:
    • Esplorare, progettare e pianificare una rete di sentieri Enduro/Downhill sulla collina a nostra disposizione.
    • La cima della collina è accessibile in auto, rendendola ideale per risalite assistite (shuttle).
    • Lavoreremo con te per ottenere tutti i permessi necessari per i terreni.
  2. Guida e Sviluppo Business:
    • Agire come guida MTB residente per gli ospiti di ColivingLiguria.
    • Promuovere e attrarre nuovi ospiti (rider) a soggiornare nel nostro coliving, che diventeranno poi tuoi clienti per i tour guidati.
    • Sviluppare pacchetti (ad es. “Stay & Ride”) in collaborazione con noi.

Modello di Business e Potenziale di Guadagno

Questo è il tuo business. Noi forniamo la terra, l’alloggio e una base di potenziali clienti; tu costruisci l’impresa.

  • Modello: SarĂ  gestito come un tuo progetto indipendente (Modello A da Propose a Project), in cui affitterai le risorse da noi a un costo minimo e tratterrai i profitti dei tuoi servizi di guida.
  • Il tuo Guadagno: Le tue entrate proverranno direttamente dagli ospiti che guiderai. Avrai la libertĂ  di definire i tuoi prezzi e pacchetti.
  • Investimento Futuro: Man mano che questo progetto cresce, abbiamo la possibilitĂ  di utilizzare i nostri fondi europei per co-investire in attrezzature necessarie, come una flotta di biciclette a noleggio o attrezzi.

Cosa Offriamo

  • Terreno e Posizione: Un’intera collina con bosco, accessibile in auto, pronta per lo sviluppo. Il tutto, situato proprio accanto alla mecca della MTB di Finale Ligure.
  • Strumenti e Risorse:
    • Tutti gli strumenti necessari per la pianificazione e il design.
    • DisponibilitĂ  di una bici da Enduro (del proprietario, Simone Testino) da poter utilizzare.
  • Alloggio:
    • Ti offriamo un affitto gratuito o fortemente ridotto per una stanza (privata o condivisa) a Ville Chiappella.
    • Questo sarĂ  formalizzato con un Contract for Residents, garantendo che il tuo soggiorno sia legalmente inquadrato.
  • Community e Network: Una vivace comunitĂ  di lavoratori da remoto e volontari internazionali, che fornisce una base di clienti immediata e un ottimo ambiente di vita.

Il Candidato Ideale

  • Comprovata esperienza nella progettazione e costruzione di sentieri (richiesto portfolio).
  • Qualifiche di guida MTB certificata.
  • MentalitĂ  imprenditoriale, motivato a costruire un business da zero.
  • Buona conoscenza del mercato MTB, in particolare della scena di Finale Ligure.
  • Socievole, orientato alla comunitĂ  e pronto a vivere in un ambiente rustico e in piena ristrutturazione a Ville Chiappella.
  • È richiesto un buon livello di inglese per comunicare con i nostri ospiti internazionali.
