FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Tool1?

Tool1 is the ancillary bilateral form through which the Company and an adult Signatory identify one verified movable asset, delimit authorised use, and record the gratuitous loan, handover, and return. It grants no real-estate instrument.

Does listing the tool in the catalogue already authorise use?

No. Verified physical identity, the exact official manual, a current inspection, determined scope and safeguards, a final Tool1 executed by both Parties, and recorded handover are cumulatively required. Any missing condition blocks use.

Can one Tool1 cover several tools?

No. Each Tool1 concerns one canonical CAT-R-NNN code. A second asset requires a second form and independent checks; any historical CL-TOOL-NNNN alias does not replace the canonical code.

Must I read the manual before handover?

Yes. The final form identifies the exact copy by title, code, revision, language, official source, and SHA-256 digest. Before handover, the Signatory confirms access, full reading, and comprehension of its language and content.

Can a chat message or oral permission replace Tool1?

No. Informal communications may only coordinate an appointment within terms already agreed; they do not authorise the asset, amend security, duration or costs, or cure prior use.

Are consumables and electricity included?

Only as expressly selected in the individual Tool1. The form must state details, any reimbursement of documented cost, and the cap; silence creates neither a charge nor an entitlement to supply.

May an additional security deposit be required?

Yes, where the amount and treatment are expressly stated and coordinated with Attachment F. It is refundable security, not a price or automatic penalty; where due, it must be credited before Tool1 becomes effective.

Who is liable for wear and damage?

The Signatory is not liable for ordinary wear arising solely from authorised use without fault. A charge requires direct damage, evidence of causation, and documented quantification net of wear, residual value, insurance, and recoveries, without double recovery.

May the Company suspend use immediately?

Yes, where there is a present danger, defect, recall, expired inspection, missing PPE or supervision, out-of-scope use, third-party access, or another documented breach. Early return outside urgency remains subject to the form, the agreement, and law.

Does Tool1 create employment, an internship, or volunteering?

No. Tool1 governs only personal, optional, and limited use of the asset. It assigns no duties, shifts, results, or consideration; if the actual facts describe organised, directed, or remunerated activity, that activity must stop and be governed by the proper instrument.

What is the nature of the experience statement in Tool1?

It is a contractual statement limited to facts personally known by the Signatory. It is not a statutory self-certification or substitute declaration and does not certify competence or fitness. The reason for the request is separate and concerns intended future use; the Company remains responsible for assessing competence, training, practical testing, and supervision.

What must I write about experience and the reason for the request?

For experience, describe periods, contexts, comparable tools, operations performed, training, and any limitations or incidents; if there is no experience, state that expressly. For the reason, describe the personal project, concrete result, materials, and why the specific asset is needed. Generic phrases are insufficient, and absent or limited experience requires supervision.

How is Tool1 submitted, and when does it become effective?

After the Reference Agreement and Attachment M are already effective, the Signatory verifies the final handover data and sends the identified, unaltered Italian source PDF and the completed and signed Italian copy to the Company's certified email, with an identity document if handwritten-signed. The Company verifies the file and digitally countersigns the same file before or simultaneously with the controlled handover; the asset may not be released before countersignature. Digests, certified-email receipts and the timeline remain in the protected operational register and are not added to the signed PDF.

Which language version may be signed?

Only the Italian version. The English version published on the website is a non-official courtesy translation and is not signable. Anyone who does not fully understand Italian must not sign until they have obtained an adequate independent translation or assistance.
