Frequently asked questions
Does including Attachment L in Con. M assign a room or a right to stay?
No. The non-real-estate branch is active in the Con. M package: Attachment L governs only Company movable assets, systems, safety equipment, utilities, and ancillary services during access that is already lawful. It identifies no property, delivers no premises, and grants no possession, custody, exclusive use, or duration of stay.
When may Attachment L's real-estate branch be activated?
Only within a separate lawful real-estate instrument consistent with the actual facts and subject to all applicable form, registration, tax, and administrative requirements. It may not be activated to circumvent those duties and is not active in the standard Con. M package.
May I use Company furniture or equipment?
Only where the specific item is made available or authorised by the Company and in accordance with the notified instructions. The item remains Company property unless a separate written instrument provides otherwise and must be returned in the condition resulting from diligent use, allowing for ordinary wear.
May I independently take assets from storage or a technical area?
No. Access to storage or technical areas and removal of assets require specific authorisation and cannot be inferred merely from inclusion of Attachment L. The safety limits in Attachments B, M, R, and any other relevant attachments continue to apply.
May I connect a space heater, hair dryer, or another high-load appliance?
This depends on the Configuration of this attachment and the applicable instructions. Exactly one concrete and documented electrical selection must be recorded. If the selection is missing, multiple, or unsupported by sufficient evidence, use is not authorised and the deactivated mode continues to apply. Tampering with panels, protections, or systems is always prohibited.
Does tampering with a system automatically terminate the agreement?
The Company may immediately adopt proportionate precautionary measures and, where the specified conditions are met, activate express termination or urgent cessation under Attachment T. Liability, charges, and final consequences depend on the facts, evidence, and mandatory law; no absolute Company exemption applies.
Is internet connectivity guaranteed?
No, unless a separate written guarantee provides otherwise. Connectivity is an ancillary service subject to technical availability, external providers, maintenance, and security. Attachment L guarantees neither a minimum speed nor absolute continuity.
How are damage or costs concerning movable assets disputed?
They must be identified, documented, causally linked to attributable conduct, and reasonably quantified, distinguishing ordinary wear. Objection and any deduction from the deposit follow Attachment F; the entire deposit is not automatically retained.
What happens to personal effects or food left after the last access?
Where the relevant rule is active, effects must be removed within the configured threshold, ordinarily 96 hours after the last documentable physical access. Spoiled or dangerous food may be discarded earlier for hygiene reasons; non-perishable property remains the Signatory's and does not automatically transfer to the Company. Penalties and costs remain subject to notice, evidence, proportionality and Attachment F.
Does failure to report within 60 minutes automatically make the Signatory liable?
No. The period supports prompt preservation of evidence concerning apparent condition. It does not cure latent defects, automatically shift the burden of proof or make testimony unchallengeable. Every charge requires specific evidence, causation and an opportunity to respond under Attachment F.
What is the effect of photographs, videos, records, and the verifier's name?
They are limited, verifiable, and challengeable evidence within the scope of what they document. The name identifies who created or checked the record and does not confer an undocumented professional qualification. None of those elements is, by itself, a certification, declaration of conformity, cure, proof of general safety, or waiver of defects and non-excludable liability.
What is recorded when no technical assessment is available?
The record expressly states that the area or system has not been assessed, and only the deactivated electrical mode is selected, with the reason and any operational isolation record. Statements such as 'no risk' or 'fully safe' are not used without a specific, verifiable technical basis.
Does Attachment L authorise cameras, microphones, or continuous monitoring?
No. Attachment L is not a basis for surveillance of persons or behavioural monitoring. Technical evidence collection must be occasional, necessary, and limited to the relevant area or system. Cameras and microphones are prohibited in bathrooms and other intimate spaces in every case; any different processing requires a separate lawful data-protection framework.
