🧗 Climber Guide & Route Setter Wanted

Abstract

We are looking for a certified Climbing Guide, preferably with route-setting skills, to join our community. This is a unique dual-role opportunity: 1) Design and build on-site bouldering and climbing routes on our house walls and trees. 2) Launch your own independent guiding business, capitalizing on our prime location near the Finale Ligure climbing mecca.

ColivingLiguria is located just a short drive from the world-renowned Finale Outdoor area, a global hotspot for climbers, and close to spectacular routes like the Via Ferrata degli Artisti.

This creates a massive opportunity for an entrepreneurial guide to establish a base here. We are looking for someone to take charge of this project. The role is two-fold:

1. The On-Site Project: Route Setter

Your first mission is to bring climbing to our home. You will have creative freedom to:

  • Design and build bouldering and climbing routes on the external walls of our houses (like Casa del Noce and Casa del Forno).
  • Major Project: Develop The Cliffside. This is a dedicated area with a 20-30m rock face right next to the creek.
    • Tasks: Clean the base of the cliff, bolt new sport climbing routes, and create a safe approach path.

  • Create fun, challenging climbing/bouldering circuits on the trees and natural rock formations on our property.
  • These routes will serve as a unique amenity and training ground for all our residents.

2. The Business: Independent Guide

This is your independent venture. You will be the resident climbing expert for ColivingLiguria.

  • Guiding: Offer paid guided tours, climbing courses, and experiences to our residents and new guests.
  • Marketing: Attract climbing tourists to stay at ColivingLiguria as their base, with you as their dedicated guide. You can create “Stay & Climb” packages in synergy with us.

Business Model & Compensation

This is your business, run as an independent venture (Model A from Propose a Project).

  • Your Income: You keep the profits from your guiding services, courses, and any packages you sell.
  • Accommodation: In exchange for developing and maintaining the on-site routes and being our resident expert, we offer you free or heavily reduced rent for a room at Location.
  • Your Contract: Your residency will be formalized with a Contract for Residents.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Certified: You must be a certified climbing guide (e.g., UIAA, FASI, or equivalent national certification).
  • Skills: Experience in route setting is a major plus.
  • Entrepreneurial: You are motivated to build your own business from the ground up.
  • Attitude: A great collaborator, ready to integrate into our community and live in a rustic, in-progress renovation environment at Location.
  • Language: English is recommended to communicate with our international community.

Stiamo cercando una Guida di Arrampicata certificata, preferibilmente con competenze di tracciatura (route setting), che si unisca alla nostra community. Si tratta di un’opportunità unica con un doppio ruolo: 1) Progettare e costruire percorsi di bouldering e arrampicata in loco, sui muri esterni delle nostre case e sugli alberi. 2) Lanciare la tua attività di guida indipendente, sfruttando la nostra posizione privilegiata vicino alla mecca dell’arrampicata di Finale Ligure.

ColivingLiguria si trova a breve distanza in auto dalla rinomata area Finale Outdoor, un hotspot globale per gli scalatori, e vicino a vie spettacolari come la Via Ferrata degli Artisti.

Questo crea un’enorme opportunità per una guida imprenditoriale che voglia stabilire qui la propria base. Stiamo cercando qualcuno che si faccia carico di questo progetto. Il ruolo è duplice:

1. Il Progetto In Loco: Tracciatore (Route Setter)

La tua prima missione è portare l’arrampicata a casa nostra. Avrai libertà creativa per:

  • Progettare e costruire vie di bouldering e arrampicata sui muri esterni delle nostre case (come Casa del Noce e Casa del Forno).
  • Progetto Principale: Sviluppare The Cliffside. Un’area dedicata con una parete rocciosa di 20-30m proprio accanto al torrente.
    • Compiti: Pulire la base della falesia, chiodare nuove vie di arrampicata sportiva e creare un sentiero di avvicinamento sicuro.
  • Creare circuiti di arrampicata/boulder divertenti e allenanti sugli alberi e sulle formazioni rocciose naturali presenti nella nostra proprietĂ .
  • Questi percorsi diventeranno un servizio unico e un’area di allenamento per tutti i nostri residenti.

2. Il Business: Guida Indipendente

Questa è la tua impresa indipendente. Sarai l’esperto di arrampicata residente di ColivingLiguria.

  • Guida: Offrire tour guidati a pagamento, corsi di arrampicata ed esperienze ai nostri residenti e a nuovi ospiti.
  • Marketing: Attrarre turisti/climber a soggiornare presso ColivingLiguria come loro base, con te come guida dedicata. Potrai creare pacchetti “Stay & Climb” in sinergia con noi.

Modello di Business e Retribuzione

Questa è la tua attività, gestita come un’impresa indipendente (Modello A da Propose a Project).

  • Il tuo Guadagno: Trattieni i profitti dai tuoi servizi di guida, corsi e pacchetti che vendi.
  • Alloggio: In cambio dello sviluppo e della manutenzione dei percorsi in loco e del tuo ruolo di esperto residente, ti offriamo un affitto gratuito o fortemente ridotto per una stanza a Ville Chiappella.
  • Il tuo Contratto: La tua residenza sarĂ  formalizzata con un Contract for Residents.

Il Candidato Ideale

  • Certificato: Devi essere una guida di arrampicata certificata (ad es. UIAA, FASI, o certificazione nazionale equivalente).
  • Competenze: L’esperienza come tracciatore (route setter) è un grande vantaggio.
  • Imprenditoriale: Sei motivato a costruire la tua attivitĂ  da zero.
  • Attitudine: Un ottimo collaboratore, pronto a integrarsi nella nostra community e a vivere in un ambiente rustico e in piena ristrutturazione a Ville Chiappella.
  • Lingua: È richiesto l’inglese per comunicare con la nostra community internazionale.
