Abstract

This page outlines the periodic events that form the backbone of community life at ColivingLiguria. It details our hierarchy of recurring events—from major annual festivals to weekly gatherings. For specific dates, schedules, and one-off special events, please always consult our master Events Calendar, which is updated most frequently.

The Rhythm of Community Life

At Coliving Liguria, we structure our community life around a series of periodic events. These create a predictable rhythm, offering regular opportunities for celebration, connection, and fun. Our events are organised in a hierarchy: the less frequent the event, the larger its scale.

• Yearly Events: Major traditional festivals.
• Seasonal Events: Large, themed parties to welcome externals.
• Monthly Events: Mid-sized community activities.
• Weekly Events: Small, regular social gatherings.

This page serves as a guide to what you can expect. Alongside these, we will also host Special Events, which are non-periodic and will be announced on the Events Calendar as opportunities arise.

Propose Your Own Event

We highly welcome proposals for new events! If you have an idea, please follow the official process on our Propose an Event page. You can also get in touch with the Event Organisation Team or Simone Testino with your questions.

Yearly Events

These are our celebrations of major Western festivities, re-interpreted with a Coliving Liguria spirit. We focus on community activities and creating shared experiences. Each of these events has a dedicated page for more details.

• New Year 🎉: Welcoming the new year together.
• Christmas 🎄: A communal celebration with our own traditions.
• Easter 🐣: Celebrating spring and renewal.
• Halloween 🎃: A creative and spooky gathering.
• University Start Event 🎓: An event held around the start of the academic year, organised in collaboration with the University of Genoa, aimed at welcoming students.

Seasonal Events

These are our largest signature events, designed to bring new people into our community. During these periods, accommodation is often offered for free or at a significant discount to welcome external guests. The dates are flexible and change each year; please check the individual event pages and the Events Calendar for this year’s schedule.

• Winter Party 🔥: Our biggest event, lasting one week (end of Jan/beginning of Feb). We focus on outdoor activities, warmed by a large bonfire in the garden in front of Casa del Noce.
• Spring Party 🌸: A 3-5 day event in the second half of March to celebrate nature’s return.
• Summer Party ☀️: A 3-5 day event held in June to kick off the summer.
• Autumn Party 🍂: A 3-5 day event at the end of November, focusing on harvest and indoor cosiness.

Monthly Events

• Music Saturday 🎵: We are introducing “Music Saturday” as our recurring monthly live music slot, scheduled for the first Friday and Saturday of every month.
  • Note: This is a special periodic event. It is not guaranteed and only happens if a musician, band, or artist successfully applies to perform.
  • Seasonal: This event is also seasonal, taking place primarily in Spring, Summer, and Autumn when the weather is good for our outdoor stages.

Weekly Events

These are our small, consistent gatherings that anchor the community’s social life.

• Saturday Pizza Night 🍕: Every Saturday evening, we fire up the wood oven to cook and enjoy pizzas together, outdoors or indoors depending on the weather.

Eventi Annuali

Queste sono le nostre celebrazioni delle principali festività occidentali, reinterpretate con lo spirito di Coliving Liguria. Ci concentriamo su attività comunitarie e sulla creazione di esperienze condivise. Ognuno di questi eventi ha una pagina dedicata per maggiori dettagli.

• Capodanno 🎉: Per dare il benvenuto al nuovo anno insieme.
• Natale 🎄: Una celebrazione comunitaria con le nostre tradizioni.
• Pasqua 🐣: Per celebrare la primavera e la rinascita.
• Halloween 🎃: Un incontro creativo e spettrale.
• Evento Inizio Università 🎓: Un evento che si tiene in concomitanza con l’inizio dell’anno accademico, organizzato in collaborazione con l’Università di Genova e rivolto agli studenti.

Eventi Stagionali

Questi sono i nostri eventi “di punta” più grandi, pensati per portare nuove persone nella nostra comunità. Durante questi periodi, l’alloggio è spesso offerto gratuitamente o con uno sconto significativo per accogliere ospiti esterni. Le date sono flessibili e cambiano ogni anno; si prega di controllare le pagine dei singoli eventi e il Events Calendar per il programma di quest’anno.

• Festa d’Inverno 🔥: Il nostro evento più grande, della durata di una settimana (fine gennaio/inizio febbraio). Ci concentriamo su attività all’aperto, riscaldati da un grande falò nel giardino di fronte a Casa del Noce.
• Festa di Primavera 🌸: Un evento di 3-5 giorni nella seconda metà di marzo per celebrare il ritorno della natura.
• Festa d’Estate ☀️: Un evento di 3-5 giorni che si tiene a giugno per dare il via all’estate.
• Festa d’Autunno 🍂: Un evento di 3-5 giorni alla fine di novembre, incentrato sul raccolto e sull’accoglienza al coperto.

Eventi Mensili

• Sabato in Musica 🎵: Stiamo introducendo il “Sabato in Musica” come nostro slot ricorrente per la musica dal vivo, programmato per il primo venerdì e sabato di ogni mese.
  • Nota: Questo è un evento periodico speciale. Non è garantito e si svolge solo se un musicista, una band o un artista si candida con successo per esibirsi.
  • Stagionale: Questo evento è anche stagionale e si svolge principalmente in Primavera, Estate e Autunno, quando il tempo è favorevole per i nostri palchi all’aperto.

Eventi Settimanali

Questi sono i nostri piccoli e costanti incontri che ancorano la vita sociale della comunità.

• Pizza Night del Sabato 🍕: Ogni sabato sera, accendiamo il forno a legna per cucinare e gustare pizze insieme, all’aperto o al chiuso a seconda del tempo.
